Dear Network!
After the discussion and general agreement of the AA Workshop at ICM Malta this November I'm proudly presenting you the first AA Meeting on the International Level: BAAM - Brussels' Academic Activities Meeting.
>From the 2nd till 5th of February 2006 the AA officers and other ELSA-people interested in the topics discussed, in the ELSA House and in Brussels with its institutions, are invited to join - the Application Form is to be found in the attachment and should be sent to ELSA International (elsa@brutele.be) by 15th of January 2006 at the latest. Please remember that the meeting is strictly informal and is not to be related to other internal meetings in ELSA.
Apart from a great stay in the heart of Europe and loads of fun in the evenings (and nights!) at the parties, the most important issues of the meeting will be:
1. AA Workshop - will be aimed on helping National and Local AA Officers to run Academic Activities and on actual discussion and evaluation of international projects (GLSE, SPEL, L@W, Studies Abroad, ELSA Law Web, EMC2, IFP and Anniversary in AA)
2. Institutional Visits - two of the most important institutions in Brussels
(NATO and European Parliament) will be visited by the participants of the
BAAM
3. Training on Project Management
4. Visit to the ELSA House and a diner served by the VP AA ELSA International
)
Please find attached to this e-mail:

- WS Agenda
There is no fee for the meeting. However, the participants are required to
pay their own accommodation. The accommodation is reserved in the youth hostel Le Chab in the center of Brussels (http://www.chab.be/) and Workshops are going to be held at the European Youth Centre even closer to the heart of Brussels and in walking distance from the hostel. Breakfast is included in the price of the hostel (approx. 20 Euro per person per night). Other meals are not provided but participant will be given a possibility to buy lunches and diners for very reasonable prices.
I hope the BAAM will attract many people from the Network and will mark a successful beginning of a new tradition in ELSA.
Hoping to see your applications very soon,
Leo T. Vojčík
